Canadian-American Cavalry Doll Angel Vice (She/They/It) is the leader of the Penrose Private Military Co-Operative and streamer. She's passionate about outdoors and firearms education, auto and horse racing, writing, and talking about the pockets of things she loves most.

The Story So Far

Current Year: 2038The Penrose Private Military Co-Operative was founded on a whim by survivors of the Prison Incident early in the year of 2038. Chief among them was a former Agricultural model "Doll" who gave her name as Angel Vice.

What makes PEnrose Different

The Penrose Company operates as a Co-Operative, with each employee from the newest member of Logistics to the Director herself having a say in what goes on, and what jobs the company takes. Angel prides herself in doing everything above board and avoiding "Jackbooted Military Adventurism". Penrose is there to help, not claim battle trophies. It is an organization that suffers the consequences of actions, and is not immune to government or corporate meddling.

The Company Shitlist

There are two main fronts the Penrose Company is involved with.

The Conglomerate is an amalgam of rogue, malicious large language models and its allies in Silicon Valley. This is the more aggressive front of Penrose, seeing a much harder application of forces like artillery, attack helicopters, and even a retrofitted missile frigate. Penrose's job here is to prevent the stripping of resources in key areas around Northern California, Nevada, Utah and into the Rocky Mountains, as well as shipping lanes in the Pacific Ocean.

Unfortunately, these events have attracted heartless capitalists, desperate doomsday cultists, and those looking to turn disaster into their personal advantage. Penrose researches ways to heal these ulcers, researches the materials that are produced by them, and deals with the consequences, whether it's armed cults or environmental cleanup.

The Divisions

There are four divisions within the Penrose Company.

Field Operations is the main physical arm of Penrose. These individuals are the primary problem solvers. Each Field Ops member belongs to a two-team squad, and is trained in marksmanship, trauma response, small group tactics, and Anomalous navigation/repair. Squads include Unicorn, the premiere troubleshooters, and Rosethorn, a Sniper Observation Team.

Research and Development, or the Labs Division houses all the researchers affiliated with the Company. Rather than a single head of R&D, there are six Primary researchers with their own teams and individual focuses. The six teams are Doll Research and Hardware, Combat Engineering, Chemical Science, Anomalous Materials, Anomalous Events, and Medical Technology

Intelligence is headed by Penrose's mysterious Director. Intel is pretty cut and dry as far as duties go, to collect and disseminate valuable information among the relevant members of the company. This includes traditional spycraft, but also collection of harbor scuttlebutt via the two locations of Cafe Penrose in the harbors of Victoria and Nanaimo, BC.

Logistics has only recently been minted as its own division, splitting off from Field Ops late this year. Given that the affectionately named "Cargo Cult" grew so much, there was demand to split them off into their own section. They're responsible for all the moving and shaking behind the scenes, and notably contain the Penrose armory.

Not just a VTuber, Angel is a writer, photojournalist, musician and pursuer of the arts across multiple disciplines. Growing up on a dairy farm in rural Minnesota, her love of anime came from shady websites viewed on a school laptop and reading Fullmetal Alchemist while feeding calves.
